Ok, there seems to be some interest in this so we'll give it at try.  I'll feel free to pull the plug on it if there is insufficient voting.

Below are the 64 players in the tournamemt.  They have been broken down into 4 regions and seeded 1 thru 16 in each of the regions, just like the NCAA tourney.  Seed #1 in each region will be pitted against seed #16, #2 will go up against #15 and so on.

To jog your memory, some of the players have one or two of their roles listed in parentheses.

That was Marjorie White....she didn't make the field.  The tournament selection committee (me) decided on a 3-short appearance minimum for inclusion, so 1-short players like Marjorie White and Lucille Ball did not get consideration.  On the other hand a few players who were in numerous shorts (Al Thompson, et al) but always had merely bit or background roles were similarly left out.

The committee worked many hours evaluating the remaining players and developing an RPI  (relative player index) for each. Seedings were based on a combination of factors including number of performances, size of roles and how memorable the roles were.

As with the NCAA tourney, I'm sure the selection committee will take some heat for its selections and seedings. You can feel free to voice your opinions.

I hope to start the actual voting tonight or tomorrow.

That makes perfect sense to me, you cant comapre a one timer to people like Bud Jamison. Its not fair.

I think your choices are very fair, you definatly covered alot of ground here. Good work!

Well, if I pick them like I do in the NCAA Tournament, a vote from me is the kiss of death.  :'(
