I remember this song was playing on the air when I got drafted in 1971.  I never heard it play on the air since I got back from overseas. I even called an "oldies station" in Chicago once to play it, but they didn't know what I was talking about. Any of you guy's hear this before?

I don't recall it being played in Detroit. And the stations I listened to would have played that.

Could it be a local band?
