I managed to get my fill of The Benny Hill Show courtesy of BBCAmerica and the A&E boxsets this weekend.
The boxsets are well-worth it if you're a fan.

Now only if Sony/Columbia could follow A&E's example with the Stooges...

Since Wonderful Waldo didn't supply any details, here is the dope on Benny Hill ...

Benny Hill (born Alfred Hawthorn Hill) came forth on the earth on January 21st 1924, which would make him 83 years old today. He died, however, "on or about" April 20, 1992 of a sudden heart attack at the tender age of 68 (or 67 - some sources give Hill's year of birth as 1925).
Happy Birthday, Benny!
His birth sign makes him an Aquarius (just for general edification).

He's one of my favorite British comedians, along with the Monty Python group.
