1940s and 1950s leading lady Yvonne DeCarlo, best remembered today as 'Lily' on THE MUNSTERS (1964 - 1966), died today at age 84.

Ms. DeCarlo appeared with Moe, Larry and Shemp on THE FRANK SINATRA SHOW (Jan. 1, 1952), and Joe Besser costarred with her in the Universal feature THE DESERT HAWK (1950), http://www.threestooges.net/episode.php?id=345.

Yvonne DeCarlo also starred in BLAZING STEWARDESSES (1975), which was originally to have costarred Moe, Curly Joe and Emil. After Moe's death, the Stooges were replaced by Al and Harry Ritz.

Ms. DeCarlo was engaged to Jock Mahoney (PUNCHY COWPUNCHERS, SQUAREHEADS OF THE ROUNDTABLE, OUT WEST, FUELIN' AROUND) in 1949. She became pregnant, but lost the baby when she learned he was having affairs. Mahoney left Yvonne, and married actress Margaret Field, a divorcee raising a young daughter named Sally.
