Topic: Looking for Radio & TV Guest Appearances Filmography information

The 'TV Guest Appearances' filmography at ThreeStooges.net has recently been expanded to include radio appearances... Radio & TV Guest Appearances Filmography.

Other than credits for Joe Besser, e.g., THE JACK BENNY PROGRAM, THE FRED ALLEN SHOW / TEXACO STAR THEATER, and Joe DeRita, e.g., PHILCO RADIO HALL OF FAME, very little of the Stooges' (and Healy's) work in radio is believed extant.  Most existing recordings have been listed.  We've also utilized radio program listings from various trade and newspaper archives that have been archived online.  Several "Old Time Radio" websites have been helpful.

Anyone who has information to share is asked to please do so.  Reviewing the filmography at the above link, you can see the types of details we're looking for, and as many details as possible.

If you scroll down, you'll see a listing of episodes for George Jessel and Norma Talmadge's show 30 Minutes in Hollywood and the 4th episode features Ted Healy's "Super Stooges." If I had to guess, the Stooges in this are probably Mousie Garner, Dick Hakins, and Sammy Wolfe, as the program premiered on October 10, 1937 and ended on July 3, 1938, meaning it probably aired around the time of those GOOD NEWS programs. I know it's not technically the Stooges, but maybe it could be listed under miscellaneous appearances? This is the only other information I could find on this program.

If I had to guess, the Stooges in this are probably Mousie Garner, Dick Hakins, and Sammy Wolfe, as the program premiered on October 10, 1937 and ended on July 3, 1938, meaning it probably aired around the time of those GOOD NEWS programs. Yes, it is Mousie, Sammy and Dick.  Ted Healy did not participate in the broadcast, and for that reason it is not included.

I recently realized that, in addition to his appearance in the JEANNIE crossover, Besser is credited at the end of another episode of THE NEW SCOOBY-DOO MOVIES called "The Weird Winds of Winona." However, since Hanna-Barbera didn't specify who voiced which characters, I don't know who he played. Both Behind the Voice Actors and IMDb say that he voiced one of the windmakers, but if he did, he disguised it so well that I can't tell which one he is voicing. I kind of feel like he's playing the bank president towards the end. Both of the websites I mentioned credit Alan Oppenheimer for the role, but he sounds as though he has two different voices in the episode. At the bank, it's a lot deeper and probably not Besser, but, to me at least, when he says the meddling kids line at the end, it sounds like Besser. I can provide more information on this for the filmography, but I would like confirmation as to whether it is Besser or not before I do.
