(In this thread from the now extinct C3 board Islipp takes sickdrjoe to task for giving Dunrobin more of a Christmas greeting than Numskull (the webmaster of Stoogeworld.com). This is one of my personal favorites, originally titled "As The Tables Turn".)

ISLIPP Posted - 29 December 2001 12:57

I've been sitting idly by and letting sickdrjoe fire his grenade
launcher at me repeatedly from early yesterday morning to this
morning. Now I'm going to use my howitzer. I'm going to show you all
what a true slime sickdrjoe really is. I'll show you his major
insecurity, which he no doubt carried over from his days facing the
corner of his classroom. Here is the TRUE analysis of sickdrjoe's
holiday posts to Dunrobin and numskull at their respective sites. I
did say I was kidding about him sucking up, but now I'm not so sure.
I'll say THIS: he sure has pointed out (with my words to AJJ awhile
back at Stoogeworld) how bad I am at sucking up, but sickdrjoe seems
to be the MASTER, as you'll see in this post. Let's begin:

At threestooges.net on 12/24 at 10:11 am, he made a TOPIC out of his
sucking up in the Open discussion forum called "Merry Christmas,
Rob!" Let's dissect it and analyze it, shall we? He starts:

"Don't see the old e-mail link,"

Any long-time poster knows that a poster's e-mail address can be
found in his profile. If you click that address, it asks you if you
want to write to the person. You tell it "yes" and it will take you
to your e-mail letter-writing page. Even if you don't want to do it
that way, you can write down the address in the profile and go to
your e-mail page YOURSELF.

"so it'll have to be a public message of holiday cheer-"

As I just pointed out, it didn't have to be public.

"but that's fine."

Sure it is- for sickdrjoe. Here's why:

1. Image building- here's that insecurity I was talking about. He won
the hearts of the fellow posters in EVERY site with the image he's
been portraying, but he constantly uses opportunities (like these
suck-up posts) to assure himself that his image hasn't changed- that
he's still the same "cool", "loveable" guy that everyone sees him as.
Anyone who would examine a lot of his posts to the posters he's
friendly with would get the INTENSE feeling that all they are,
is "You still like me, and just as much as ever, don't you?" posts.
The answers to the posts are, as he perceives them, "Yeah, you know
we still like you, you crazy guy! C'mere and I'll give you a noogie!"
Sickdrjoe shows this insecurity all the time, even though it's
completely unnecessary for him to feel insecure.
What a poor, poor baby.

2. As I mentioned before, the "suck-up factor". "Hey Rob, Kevin, that
mean old C3 webmaster banned me. I could've been off the board for
good, but the insistance of fellow posters changed his mind. Please
tell me I'm still cool with you and can stay on your site. Please?"
#1 above comes into play here as well. Paragraph 2...

"Merriest of Xmases to you and the family, Rob"

Let's butter up the webmaster by wishing his family well too. By the
way, does anyone find it peculiar that sickdrjoe calls these
guys "Rob" and "Kevin" while speaking to them instead of their post
names, Dunrobin and numskull? We can go right back to that insecurity
thing again for this. "Maybe if I use their real first names and make
my posts to them more personal, they'll like me all the more on a
personal level."

"and I'm sure 2002 will bring yet more new Schtuff for Stooge fans
old and new".

I fail to see how this fits in with the rest of the post. Was he
desperately trying to think of a way to address the next holiday, and
make a pathetic attempt to be cute besides ("Schtuff")? He didn't
even apply this directly to Dunrobin, but to ALL Stooge fans (I guess
that includes me, so maybe I should feel honored). This well-wishing
to ALL Stooge fans is yet another sign of that insecurity. Now here's
paragraph 3- one that numskull should take GREAT interest in, as his
site didn't get ANY praise in HIS suck-up post from sickdrjoe.

"This is STILL far & away the first page I'd reccomend to anyone
looking to broaden their knowledge of an all-time great comedy team."

It IS a great site as far as all of that goes, but this SCREAMS "I'm
sucking up."

"A rock-solid reference source and a great way to discover what's out
there that you might've missed."

He sure was laying it on REALLY thick with the two portions above. So
numskull's site isn't worth a plug nickle? I beg to differ. Maybe
Dunrobin's site IS a little better for everything sickdrjoe said, but
Stoogeworld has just as much for fans to fawn over.

"(Now if only someone could get it through peoples' heads that AMC
AIN'T gonna be showing those Missing 60 no matter how hard you
plead....)"

I have no argument with those sentiments. However, sickdrjoe
obviously used this reference to the "missing 60" to maintain that
image of his. On to the 4th and last paragraph...

"Oh well-that might be asking too much."

Anyone that remembers English class in high school/college knows that
this should be included in paragraph 3. ALSO, saying "that might be
asking too much" is a major insult to newbie posters who haven't
heard why these shorts are held back. By saying "that may be asking
too much", he's saying that these posters are hopeless, calling them
ignorant- and perhaps even stupid.

"Happy Holidays, boss!"

Well, Dunrobin IS the boss over there, but sickdrjoe has used the
term "boss" while referencing other posters before- not very often,
mind you, but he has. Maybe he's pathetically trying to be cool when
using this term.

Now for his Stoogeworld post. Get a load of how short this is
compared to his post to Dunrobin. I believe that he thinks (as do I)
that Dubrobin's site is more closely associated with C3 than
numskull's, so that's why he layed it on MUCH thicker with Dunrobin-
so he can even suck up to C3! At Stoogeworld, he used his 249th post
on CHRISTMAS DAY (not bothering to extend holiday cheer to numskull
IN TIME so numskull can see it before celebrating himself) at 9:32:07
am to say:

"Merry Christmas to you all. And one especially for Kevin and his
family"

Mmmm-hmmm. Big wishes to all, but the BIGGEST wishes for the
webmaster and his family. SUCK-UP!

"for being such gracious hosts to all us lowlifes,"

Right. He's better than us because he has a website. I believe we've
all been insulted, but at least he included himself.

"and year-round besides".

Well, there you have it. I've proven that, as "cool" and "loveable"
as sickdrjoe comes off to most posters, he...

1. has a MAJOR insecurity that needs to be relieved more often than
Jed Clampett can say "Weeell doggy!"

2. is the biggest suck up on his hemisphere of the world and
definately the biggest suck-up of all the Stooge forums.

3. uses those "cute" terms to try to further build an image he
already has.
4. thinks much less of numskull and Stoogeworld than he does of
Dunrobin and the .net site.

And Sickdrjoe- if you don't at least TRY to explain these things
away, that means everything I said above is true and that you're a
spineless coward for not facing up to your faults mentioned above.

That's it; Slipp you such a friggin moron! Maybe, just maybe, doc is
good friends with Rob away from the site? Did that thought ever come
across your mind? You are attacking sickdrjoe because he sent out
holiday wishes? And we are supposed to say; "Gee, Slipp is right;
that sickdrjoe is an ass! How dare he say Merry Christmas to the
webmaster!" Sucking up to C3? Doc has continued to speak out against
C3, despite having been kicked off for a period of time. You're
Howitzer looks more like a straw used for paper wads to me. Why must
you constantly open yourself up for a public ass whipping? This has
to be one of the dumbest fight posts I have ever seen next to cc12.
Just plain stupid!

Shemps#1- Maybe he IS good friends with them- and I'd never mean to
imply that his holiday messages weren't sincere, but no, I wouldn't
expext ANYONE to think that sickdrjoe is a bad guy. Oh NOOOO- he's
FLAWLESS! He's nicer than Mister Rogers! GIVE ME A BREAK!

Now, I'm as crappy at fighting as I am at sucking up. THERE, I'VE
SAID IT!! I don't KNOW HOW to fight and NOT BE STUPID so PLEASE cut
me some slack!"

Slipp....thank you, man.

You did, in a few paragraphs, what I've been trying for months to do:
expose you as, not just a small-minded petty idiot, but someone whose
singsongy smiley-face persona turns out to be a crudely-fashioned,
clumsily-fitted mask covering the darkest and most loathsome of
aberrational psychoses.

I said it before & I'll say it again: you're the type of 'adult' who
ends up molesting small children, if you're not presently doing so.
And when they DO catch you, what a tale of woe you'll regale the
arresting officers with!

You've had a lifetime to practice it, after all.

So you try to make your point about him being a bad guy by attacking
a post of season's greetings? Great strategy Slipp! BTW, no one, not
even doc, is saying he is saintly; then again, who is?
sickdrjoe Posted - 29 December 2001 13:25

Please, Webmaster, PLEASE....never delete this thread. I'm BEGGIN'
you!

"I don't KNOW HOW to fight and NOT BE STUPID so PLEASE cut me some
slack!"

That is just classic! Hey Gerry Cooney, what does that tell you? Does
common sense even factor in this?

Squid McGuffey Posted - 29 December 2001 13:38
More words from the poster boy for birth control. The more I read the
more I believe in reproductive licensing.

THis poster should have attacked me also thereby showing his flank
and insecurity and showing himself to be the pathetic moron that he
is.

SLIPP I really have to ask you in all seriousness, do you do anything
besides post on this board? Do you have friends (I probably answered
my own question) and is there ANYONE who meets you in person who does
not want to punch you out? These are serious questions that you will
no doubt turn around and throw back at me

sickdrjoe Posted - 29 December 2001 13:51
But, Jim, THIS post is like the jewel in the Slipp crown!

A few facts:

A) Dunrobin's site used to have a prominent e-mail link for the
Webmaster, since done away with in the most recent flurry of site
refurbishings. At present, there's no visible link to contact Rob
(and based on the fact that SLIPP hangs out there now, who can blame
him?)

B) Dunrobin's actual reply to my "sucking up" as follows:
"Many thanks, Joe, and the best of the Christmas season to you and
yours, as well. You are ALWAYS welcome at ThreeStooges.net! Drop me
an email at Dunrobin@... as soon as you get a chance -
I'd love to hear from you (got lots of things to discuss, Stooge-
related and otherwise.)"
Does that sound like someone who dreads my 'phony' season's greetings?

C) Dunrobin's site was...and still is...built around an 'engine' of a
detailed, short-by-short historical overview. Each short has its
own 'section'; in fact, the last item added to the site was a 'forum'
page like this one...and to be honest it hasn't been very successful
as of yet. But a new fan doesn't want to know about politics or the
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame or Teddy Ruxpin, he or she wants to find out
about the SHORTS - those they've seen & those they have YET to see.
Therefore, Dunrobin's site IS clearly the best reference-source for a
Stooge newbie seeking more info on the boys!

D) Numskull has privately emailed me a few times and I genuinely like
HIM, too. (And I've publicly praised his site as well, which features
fascinating sidebar extras like cover scans of vintage Stooges comic
books from the 40s.) What - suddenly you can't wish someone a Merry
Christmas?

E) Who in their right mind would even try to psychoanalyze a two-
sentence Merry Christmas message IN THE FIRST PLACE? Why would
anyone "suck up" to an Internet forum that earns them no income
whatsoever, except SOMEONE WHO ABERRATIONALLY HAS REPLACED HIS REAL
LIFE WITH A FANTASY LIFE OF BEING AN INTERNET 'PERSONALITY'
(ISLIPP...under cross-examination!, tm ISLIPP, c 2001, etc, etc, ad
absurdium). It's like trying to psychoanalyze 'hello'. You have to be
UTTERLY consumed with hatred and cross-hatred and self-hatred to even
compose the post atop this thread.

This isn't a nice, neer-do-well, lovable schmuck here, no matter how
hard he tries to pretend he is. Take a good long look, folks: Slipp's
one of those time bombs that his shocked neighbors will one day swear
was always a quiet, well-behaved boy.

this hard in years.

Check out THIS Slipp post from Stoogeworld, a few minutes ago:

Numskull-

you are cordially invited to a "bash" at the C3 forum. Don't forget-
that's threestooges.com in the Open Discussion forum. The "address"
is "As the Tables Turn...". There are things revealed in the thread
that you would find very interesting. It's a caual dress occassion
and you don't have to bring anything, unless you want to. Hurry,
before "the police" crash the "party" and break it up.

Your Pal,

I give this guy credit. We outed him as 'Superstooge'. He serves up
the "Marmaduke" memory from the 3rd grade. We keep catching him
screwing up BIBLE QUOTES, f'r Pete's sake (the ONE book you'd think
he'd KNOW!). Yet after all of these death-blows of public
humiliation, he has neither gone away nor committed suicide. I feel
like Bugs Bunny sitting on a blindfolded Elmer Fudd's head as he
staggers, clueless, belligerent and armed to the teeth, through the
forest: "I wonder what else I can do t'this joik NOW?"

"Why's everybody always picking on me?"

Thank you so much for the free entertainment Slipp.

SLIPP, this is very immature. What was the point of posting this?
Everyone here likes sickdrjoe including me. No matter what crap you
post about him, people aren't gonna listen to you and start to turn
against him. If anything, they'll start thinking you have serious
problems.

ISLIPP Posted - 29 December 2001 15:4
Wait a minute- I already said I don't know how to fight without
sounding stupid, AND I've already said that I do think that he meant
everything he said in those holiday posts. The POINT of this topic is
to expose the OTHER things that those comments meant.

I just woke up to the reason hardly anyone sides with me- sickdrjoe
is your GOD. You worship him with your acceptance of him and your
kind words to him. By aggreeing with him, you appease your god (for
me) after I anger him (if I really do). Well go ahead and continue
having him as your god, by all means. ALSO- I woke up to the fact
that any opponent of your god's would be considered by you to be
stupid and/or stupid-sounding. So therefore, maybe everyone else in
the world would wonder what in the heck you're talking about. I know
that nothing in that post sounds stupid to me.

You say he's no saint but you like him anyway. Yet my faults are
always harped on and his aren't. Maybe mine ARE more prominent, but
his faults DO exsist on the forums. Seems to me that one's god should
TRULY be flawless. Don't you agree?

Sickrjoe- you've only addressed a few of my points in the topic post.
What about that insecurity of yours? And you STILL could've extended
your holiday cheer to the webmasters PRIVATELY. There are other
things, but nice guy that I am, I'll leave them to you to mention.

Sweets- I believe it's not a crime to like or agree with someone
here. I'm not against anyone liking or agreeing with sickdrjoe, but
darn it, SLAM HIM sometimes. Make fun of things HE says sometimes.
Why is it always ME? (Yes- I'm Ravenesque, but he just whined without
a good reason).

BTW- the word "god" is only spelled with a capital "g" when
mentioning God the Supreme Being. It's like his name. It
distinguishes him from all other gods. Look at Greek and Roman
mythology- the word "god", used zillions of times, is spelled with a
lowercase "g".

Pay homage to the god of the C3 forum- sickdrjoe! Prepare burnt
offerings and sacrifices. Bow to his every post.

And incidentally, Slipp, first you called me an 'evil genius', then

For the Last time, I'M ALL FOR holiday wishes, public AND private. I
DON'T think sickdrjoe did ANYTHING wrong IN THAT WAY.

I don't even think it's wrong to have an insecurity. The REAL God (in
heaven) knows that I have my fair share of them. I never said that
there was anything WRONG with having them. There's nothing wrong with
sucking up either. But sickdrjoe has shown that insecurity and sucked
up IN PUBLIC. It's funny that you all worship a god that sucks up and
allways fears that he's losing his image. It is to laugh. By the way-
about the "robot master" thing, I started that by calling posters
his "followers", something you all still are, but HE is the one who
came up with the "robot master" illustratiom that started all
the "Must...kill...Slipp" stuff.

And Snake Goddess- you know I meant "obscurity". Don't make me sic

Speaking of Canada... Skimming back over the recent posts, it sounds
like this Dunrobin site is the place to be learnin' about the Three
Stooges films. What is the correct web address? Typing in
www.dunrobin.com didn't get me anywhere but a cattle farm in Canada.
This isn't more of Sweet Canadian Girl's magic, is it?

Danke, Shady.

Hammond Eggar Posted - 29 December 2001 20:26
Trust me on this point. I REALLY hate to be sticking my nose into
this matter, but I feel this must be said.
For as long as I have been a poster here, I have really enjoyed the
banter and exchanges with EVERYONE, including SDJ and ISLIPP. Both of
you have been very nice in regards to your responses to my posts.
I'll admit, I haven't always agreeded with everything said,
especially some of SDJ's comments. That siad, I respect everyone's
right to their own opinion. I wouldn't want to live in a world where
everyone lived and thought exactly as I do. Life wouldn't be as
interesting, and I know I wouldn't be able to grow as a person.
I can't believe I have to post this again, guys. SDJ and ISLIPP: You
guys are WAY too good to be behaving in this manner. It is totally
beneath both of you. I really couldn't care less who started all of
this nonsense. It really doesn't matter. You both are making grand
fools of yourselves. ISLIPP, your tyraids are ridiculous. SDJ, your
useless nit-picking is pointless and uncalled for. I sure do wish
both of would just grow up and stop all of this silly behavior. Look,
if ISLIPP says something "stupid", please DRJOE, IGNORE it. DON'T
respond to it at all. Hey, SLIPP! If SDJ takes a shot at you, don't
respond to it either. IT IS THAT SIMPLE!!! If one of you wants to act
immature, the other shouldn't lower his standards and also behave
foolishly.
Look, I say this as a guy who LIKES both of you. I sure wish ALL of
us could get along and enjoy this forum in peace. Guys, it isn't an
unrealistic, or unacheivable, goal. PLEASE, make an effort to get
along in 2002. I'm sure everyone here would appreciate it. Thank you.
Take care everyone.

shemps#1 Posted - 29 December 2001 20:48

Was that from the Off The Ground album? Is that even the right name
of the album?

Hammond Eggar Posted - 29 December 2001 21:1
Hey SHEMPS#1. Yes, Paul's 1993 album was titled OFF THE GROUND. "Big
Boys Bickering" is a song that appeared on the CD-single for the OTG
track, "Hope of Deliverance". When MTV was preparing to broadcast
Paul's concert special, UP CLOSE (shot at the Ed Sullivan Theater),
they chose to edit out his performance of "Big Boys Bickering"
beacause of the lyric in question. "Long Leather Coat", an anti-fur
song, also appears on the "Hope. . ." CD-single.

Remember. . .
"When you talk about destruction, don't you know that you can count
me out!"

Boa Posted - 29 December 2001 21:45
Hey, thanks, shemps#1. That was in DrJoe's earlier post if I would've
read it more carefully.

Mr. Eggar - I agree with you, in principle, but when a gnat bites
you, you gotta swat at it! I fully support SickDrJoe's right to
defend his opinions. And when Slippy baby acts like needle deck the
bug flicker, man, you gotta swat HARD!

Lorna Doone Posted - 29 December 2001 22:17
Dr.Joe I know that Islipp is a moron and that you love to argue with
him. In fact I find most of the posts from both of you very
entertaining. I further realise that there are other posters out
there who want to get in on the arguments merely to put a stop to
them. But I think it's time that we get rid of some of the lame
brains around here. I feel that it's your duty to privately e-mail
Squid McGuffy and Boa to stay out of the fights. They contribute very
little to relevant Stooge or even non-stooge topics, and they rarely
show up except to gang up against other members of the forum.

ISLIPP Posted - 29 December 2001 22:27
I TOTALLY agree with Lorna about Squid and Boa's relevance to the
forum/wars (but I'll overlook that moron comment).

I TOTALLY agree with Hammond's sentiments and have actually tried to
do what he says all along, but it's like what Boa said (albeit about
the wrong person), to paraphrase, "If you're pestered by a gnat, you
have to swat at it.". I'm PERFECTLY willing to try Hammond's
suggestion again, but sickdrjoe has to SHUT HIS HOLE about "stupid"
things I say FOR GOOD and Squid and Boa have to mind their own
business.

SLIPP, I must thank you from the bottom of my metallic heart for
writing a comedy that surpasses Duck Soup and A Plumbing We Will
Go. "As the Tables Turn..." is the funniest damn thing I have ever
read in my life and I really needed it considering the bad day I am
having. Never in my life did i ever think I'd read anything so
moronic, but SLIPP, you just made Ralphie Wiggum look like a genius.

Sickdrjoe...excuse me, I mean, God, what can I do to satisfy your
divine needs? You were born in a humble little hospital in
Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, NY and were fortunate enough to receive gifts
from The Three Stooges! I worship you your holiness. I will kill for
for you, I will swim in a tub of horse crap for you, I will jump up
and down and bark like a dog for you, I will do anything your
benevolent heart desires. You are my God, and I am your bitch.
Command me Lord sick, and I shall do your bidding!

Even so, doing a major analysis on a guy for giving a simple holiday
greeting is crazy. I know you can't stand sickdrjoe but you're going
to need better ammo than that to make him look bad. This post made
you look bad, not him. It was extremely funny, but not in a good
way.

ISLIPP Posted - 29 December 2001 23:57
Well metaldams, I didn't do it because he gave the holiday greetings-
I did it because he wouldn't shut up about me and my posts.

Now think about it- pointing out his insecurity and making fun of it
is GOOD ammo. Exposing him as a suck up is GOOD ammo. Just think if
someone did those things to you. I thought of it that way and I hated
it. So I figured, what the hey? I'll do it to HIM. I bet it only
SEEMED to backfire because sickdrjoe posted like he was playing it
cool. But REALLY, he's boiling over- probably smashing everything in
his living room to help himself cool off. Don't be fooled.

From Stoogeworld:

shemps#1 can no longer access the forum. Has he been banned?

Well, I'M going to bed.

bruckman Posted - 30 December 2001 1:29
Nose, am very sorry to hear you're down w/pneumonia; get plenty of
rest and stay off the ice.

Slipp, I think you're reading way too much into SDJ's holiday
greetings post. It's like a last-gasp effort to discredit someone. I
don't think he's so hung up on what you term his "image" that the
main reason he posts anyplace is to make sure no one thinks ill of
him. You're imputing false motives which as I said elsewhere is an
uncharitable act. For yr information and delectation SDJ sent me a
personal email wishing me a good Xmas [am not sure he wants these
things revealed but what the hey, I'll risk it]. That doesn't seem to
me the act of someone who's just interested in buttering me up [ugh-
bad imagery]. I don't think SDJ is sitting at home in Brooklyn saying
to himself "Now how can I keep Bruckman on my side and prejudice him
against Slipp?" Methinks he's got other things on his mind. And am
also going to state that am not choosing sides in this ongoing fight
which has gone on since I returned from treeplanting almost 6 mos.
ago and even then looked like it had been going on for some time. I
don't like being thrown into the middle of things and being forced to
choose sides. That's an uncool procedure in my book. Slipp, you worry
too much about what others may think of you.

ISLIPP Posted - 30 December 2001 1:50
Well bruckman, when dealing with one that is the meanest, most
arrogant piece of %#$& that you ever confrontred, you use what you
can get. Obviously, with that clod, there ain't much to get. Either
that, or I ALSO suck at telling "good material" from "bad material"
as far as what's in HIS posts. I guess you don't have to be a
champion at it to get material from MY posts.

Where's Cue? I back off and HE attacks. He leaves for awhile and I
attack again. What gives? Sickdrjoe deserves to be blasted by 2 guys-
not that I want a partner. However, I'm accepting applications for a
partner to help me deal with nosy busybodies like Squid and Boa.
Anyone interested? The job pays well- I can't tell you about that
here. E-mail me for details.

bruckman Posted - 30 December 2001 2:6
Judge not lest ye be judged, dude.

All said, I admit to being entertained by the Slipp/SDJ
confrontations at times; it's something of a rush to see just how far
they'll take it this time. Honestly Slipp, your poring over SDJ's
posts for minutiae seems like the desperate acts of a drowning man
from where I sit and Yasmine Bleeth ain't jiggling to the rescue
[alas]. Slipp, you're OK in my book, but I consider SDJ a friend too.
When I went away treeplanting, he offered to send me a WC Fields tape
because he knew I'd miss some of Fields' films while out in the bush.
That was an act of real charity. [Sorry to be destroying your image
so totally, SDJ]. It was complete generosity which by definition is
the kind of act commended in the Bible. That doesn't mean I agree
with all SDJ says or does, but I can easily say the same for you.

Now I have to go prepare the altar to sacrifice a rooster to that
deity whom I humbly beseech, sickdrjoe. ALL HAIL!!!

ISLIPP Posted - 30 December 2001 2:37
I WISH Yasmine would jiggle to my rescue! Yowza!

"the desperate acts of a drowning man". Funny- that's what sickdrjerk
thinks of all my posts. He's even said so, in other ways. I must
admit- that's what I feel like they always are too. But it wasn't
always thus. The first few months of our wars was my best fighting
period. I don't think I sucked at fighting then- at least not near as
much. Nowadays, much of my fighting spirit has left, but I still get
p-oed by continual smart remarks that see no end. SOMETHING must be
done to shut him up. I'd like to kidnap him, tie him to a chair and
subject him to endless showings of "Sweet and Hot".

Jim (Shemps #1)has become the latest regular to feel the whip of C3's
new, sneaky ban. No announcement to draw pr heat, you're OUT.

Nice going, Shyster Central!

bruckman Posted - 30 December 2001 3:3

What did Shemp's #1 do to invoke the ire of the implacable deities?
Was it that post some days ago re Shemp's family not getting proceeds
from merchandise? I noticed Michael's comments were deleted too. That
annoyed me as Michael's one of the most informative posters on the
site though he drops by so infrequently. I've learned much from his
posts. Pretty bad when Shemp's biggest fan gets banned from a Stooges
site.

metaldams Posted - 30 December 2001 3:15
Jim is banned? They're obviously trying to get rid of some of us if
that's the case. They sure as hell know I and I'm sure others will
threaten to leave the same way we did during the sickdrjoe fiasco.
Jim better just be having computer problems and not be banned.

sickdrjoe Posted - 30 December 2001 3:40
Michael & Shemps#1 are BOTH banned. Not just censored but silenced.
All for speaking the truth: C3 has no right to peddle Shemp's face,
except by right of jungle law. (And we ain't in the jungle..not yet
at least.)

Hey Egger! I'm not gonna remind you that I was quietly sitting here,
minding my own business, when Slipp begins venting his conspiracy
theory, seeing entire Commie plots in my wishing somebody else a
Merry Xmas. To see you go off on one of your peace-sign orgies
of 'stop it, you're BOTH behaving childishly' is more than I can bear.

I think you need less "Happy Chrimble" and more "blisters on your
fingers" if this is how you mediate disputes. Even SCG no longer
bothers to equate Slipp's bizarre ramblings and my startled replies.
Reading your response reminded me of that heartwarming scene in
ANIMAL HOUSE when Belushi smashes the insufferable peacenik's
acoustic guitar, before he has to endure one more verse of "Koom Ba
Ya".

Lorna, you're lucky Miz Sten ain't here at the moment. No doubt she'd
offer up a string of erudite invective that would send you back to
the League Of Blue Haired Ladies with a whole laundry list of Things
To Get Huffy About!

ALL posters restored by Monday at noon or we should ALL walk over to
another boasrd, period. Jim (Shemps) & Michael are two of the RAREST
commodities we have here: intelligent grown ups. (After TODAY, I
can't stress that point enough!)

bruckman Posted - 30 December 2001 3:49
Am in agreement and am particularly unhappy to learn Michael's been
banned. I've done another Semi-Analytical essay but haven't posted it
due mainly to work, but also to some uncertainty re C3's policies
lately. Thought of taking it over to Stoogeworld, but this site gets
more traffic and as am just a publicity hog didn't want to disrupt
the series by changing horses in midfurlong, as'twere.

Shemps#1 and Michael back or C3 newsboard = newsboard with no
posters.
NoseHonk Posted - 30 December 2001 4:5
What the hell did Mike do anyway?

Call C3 meanies?

ISLIPP Posted - 30 December 2001 4:12
First off-

Sickdrjoe- listen to Hammond instead of rubbing his face in what you
think are HIS idiocies. Also, that "minding my own business 'til
Slipp came along" stuff is a LIE! Like I said in the post that
started this topic, I've let you bombard my good name without
trashing you for it from early Friday morning until early Saturday
(yesterday) morning. You're VERY lucky I'm not a professional trash-
talker. Where's Rodney Dangerfield when I need him?

Now, unlike sckdrjoe says, I don't want this site to become just me,
Cue and others like Cue. I'll walk too, long before that happens, if
good posters keep getting the ax...getting the ax...getting the
ax...the ax...the ax! Right in the neck...right in the neck...right
in the neck...the neck...the neck! (SLAP)

And Nose- Mike dared say what C3 is REALLY up to in the "Shemp-
FINALLY starting to get his due?" thread in the legal battles between
C3 and Shemp's family.

Hey, Kid Puppy Chow, here's what started this.

You BURNED inside that I had the simple graciousness to send season's
greetings to the other posters & the two non-corporate Webmasters. It
infuriated you to the point that you had to s**t all over my
sentiments on Xmas Day, and in public (like Christ Himself would
have, I suppose - or doesn't John Haggee, the Babtist Blimp, teach
that gospel?). Mr Christian couldn't stand Cap'n Bligh getting even
one quiet moment to wish someone well....like you phony Christians
are wont to do, you exploded with your shrill, mentally-deficient
venomous spittle; accusing, accusing, 'THEM not ME!'.

Now you stand alone as The Utter Fool - you are totally on your own,
in a corner, raving at the moon...AND YOU DID 100% OF IT TO YOURSELF.

NOBODY 'DID THIS' TO YOU. YOU DID EVERY LAST SCRAP OF THE
IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE YOURSELF.

You STARTED it, CONTINUED it, EXACERBATED it and now, you've ENDED
it. Don't point that shaking finger at ME, Boy Heidi - this one's ALL
YOU.

Edited by - sickdrjoe on 12/30/2001 6:54:49 AM

ISLIPP Posted - 30 December 2001 4:52
1. You misspelled Baptist

2. You're an idiot

3. I DO RIGHTFULLY point my shaky finger at you because, like I've
already said OVER AND OVER, I DID NOT post this topic to "sh*t all
over" your holiday greetings, but to show that your words in them had
double meanings. I don't give a CRAP that you extended holiday wishes
to ANYBODY, you idiot! READ the past posts of this thread before you
even THINK about spouting off inanities like that again.

Your image has gone down the toilet. The sewer rats are using it for
a raft.

sickdrjoe Posted - 30 December 2001 5:19
I spelled "Babtist" the way snake-handling boobs like you PRONOUNCE
it.

As for the rest of your inane drool....even the 12-year-olds are
laughing at you now. Just like they do in the neighborhood where
you 'live'.

ISLIPP Posted - 30 December 2001 5:31
My "drool" isn't even CLOSE to being as inane as thou, Suck-Up Boy!
All of that last post o'mine was TRUE, sincere and completely
trustworthy- ALL of it.

sickdrjoe Posted - 30 December 2001 5:49
Uh huh. Can't help but notice - since you respond to EVERY slur
instantly, and with overkill - why you haven't even addressed my
earlier comment about you and little kids. Usually, 28-yr-old virgins
who get HEIDI & FRAGGLE ROCK for Xmas, are religious lunatics, and
never stop prattling about being umbilically linked to their 'inner
child' at all times, find themselves compulsively sexually attracted
towards young children...it is a common thread in
pedophile case histories. Remember your 'wet dream' from an earlier
post (should I dig it up and repost it, Slipp?) about the 5 year old
girl urinating in front of you? Please...the signs are all pointing
one way here, and the most damning one is your utter silence on this
ALL DAY LONG.

Care to respond, Koko the Clown? HMMMMM?

ISLIPP Posted - 30 December 2001 6:4
Your theory is all wrong, Darwin. I outgrew little girls when I
outgrew gradeschool. Being straight as a new razor's edge, I never
had a thing for little boys- and am not perverted toward them.

Now Mr. Insecure, are you happy now? No, of course not. You won't be
happy 'til you drive me away from the forum for good, kicking and
screaming. Well listen, Mr. "Please like, me. Please?", IT AIN'T
GONNA HAPPEN! I'll leave when I'M good and ready. But for now, I'm a-
stayin'.

YOU still have to answer THIS charge: Why do you seem so dadburn
insecure all the time? Huh? Hmm? Huh? ANSWER ME!

I'm insecure because nobody likes me, deep down. That's why I whimper
for the favor of Internet-forum administators: you found me out,
Slipp. Snif!

STILL beats needing to take cold showers after a Fisher-Price
Playskool commercial to keep "the sickness" at bay.

ISLIPP Posted - 30 December 2001 6:48
Wow, you not only MISspelled "sniff", but you actually know how to
correctly spell the name of a company that makes baby toys
(Playskool) when most adults would mistakenly misspell it
as "Playschool" Tell me, sickdrjoe, do you still have your "Weebles"?
You know, "Weebles wobble but they don't fall down". I think you must
still play with ALL your baby toys.

And yes, go ahead and play it cool again, laughing off my exposure of
your insecurity like it isn't real. Everybody knows it is. Be the man
you think you are and REALLY admit it.

Funny. I call you a 'dope', you fulminate for pages if not days,
explicitly and emphatically denying it.

I call you a pedophile, however, and you sort of laugh it off
lightly - you never do get around to explicitly denying it, though.
In fact, you can't wait to get off the topic altogether. Methinks the

jamison Posted - 30 December 2001 12:35
I've been so busy reading this thread and sucking up to my
supervisor, I haven't been able to get any woik done. This began with
one of the nuttiest premises I've ever seen. I mean S.J. Perelman,
George S. Kaufman and Larry David would be hard-pressed to match it.
I still haven't figured out what offering
Season's Greetings has to do with insecurity, but I'm working on it.
And I am not a slavish follower of SDJ. In fact, we've had a heated
disagreement over a volatile subject: the sound recording in SOUP TO
NUTS.
I think it's atrocious, he thinks it's marvelous. Eventually I'm
going to settle it once and for all. Pistols or sabers, Joe? The
choice is yours. And before I forget, HAPPY NEW YEAR (my insecurity
shows like a thrift-shop slip).

sickdrjoe Posted - 30 December 2001 12:39
It's continued over at Stoogeworld, Jamison. Can't recall the thread-
title, but you'll know it when you see it.

And I thought I made it clear that the horrid sound in SOUP TO NUTS
was most likely due to deterioration, neglect and cuts-for-tv on the
few surviving prints down over the years. In 1930, Fox's Movietone
Sound was industry state-of-the-art, considered far superior to the
Warners & RKO processes; Fox turned a pretty profit loaning out the
system that year.

But if you insist, sabres at midnight. Ah, you and the moon....you
wear a necktie so I'll know you.

I'd swear Islipp didn't really exist but is someone doing a parody.
Slipp, you say you want to be a writer? Well, it's time to take all
these ideas and pull them into coherent form. You've got the makings
of a great tome on paranoia, fear and religion.

I'll certainly consider it. Jamison.

Now sickdrjoe- I HAVE FIRMLY denied and sexual
perversion/molestation. I'm NOT laughing it off, but rather too
involved in shaking my head in disbelief to properly tell you off for
that pitiful accusation. I believe you got the idea for that
accusation from your daily schedule. I accused Squid of that fairly
recently, but I'm not surprised YOU do it too. Especially since you
ain't gettin' none because the only girlfriend you claim to have is
unable to do the nasty- as you have also claimed.

TOOK you a day or so to figure out how best to defuse this without
getting so hysterically shrill you give the game away, I see. What
with every fiber of your being wanting to scream, "Yes! It's
true...and so what!! I've got so much love to give them - is that so
WRONG??" like the Actual Killer blurting out his guilt on the old
PERRY MASON show.

Hammond Eggar Posted - 31 December 2001 0:43
I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize. I hope I didn't
accidentally step on anyone's toes around here. I was only trying to
help SICKDRJOE and ISLIPP work past their differences. My approach
may have seemed naive, simplistic and outdated, but it was meant with
the best intentions. I would hope that SDJ is mature enough to see
that. I am going to back down from this topic. I certainly don't want
to get mixed-up in the middle of all of this. SDJ, if you and SLIPP
want to tear each other down, then so be it. What you say and do to
each other is YOUR business and I am going to stay out of it from now
on. Just remember, you both are too good for this type of behavior. I
would hope you both would want better for yourselves, though.

This guy took TWO separate cracks at turning a simple, one-sentence
Xmas greeting into an evil conspiracy. He did it Xmas Day, and I told
him in no uncertain terms to piss off.

Then he REVIVED it on Sat afternoon, and this time as part of an
attempt to slime me to whoever he could (yes, I know everyone was
laughing at him, but that only made him more vicious & desperate!)

Now I am telling you that I can yank MORE questionable material out
of the archives that credibly paints him as a child-lover than HE can
find to credibly paint me as an evil genius/insane demigod. Two can
play at this game, after all.

And if Slipp has shown us all one thing, it's that you have to SMASH
HIM to a pulp to get him to stop squeaking. (He's since moved on
from "he is your god" to "thanks a lot for ruining my life,
sickdrjoe!". It's never gonna end...unless I END IT.)

Just because he's inept doesn't mean he WASN'T trying his hardest to
deliver a death-blow. He's got no cause to cry now that he's losing
badly.

Why don''t we all just ignore SLIPP and maybe he'll go away - to the
mental hospital where he belongs - SLIPP since you are so fascinated
with feces, you'll fit right in there

Looks like that one got little Timmy

Agreed!

Hi guys, sorry I'm late, I was . . . HEY, waitaminute! Looks like
y'all had a PARTY in here, and no one even called! *sigh* Are there
at least any lukewarm Mike's left?

You guys're gonna I G N O R E Slipp? Okay, but I can't, not just yet.
Besides, I don't want to feel guilty when he responds by sitting in
the corner and holding his breath 'til he dies.

Who would've thought—-a 1,250-word odyssey straight into the demented
mind of The Eternal Child. There it is, kids, all wrapped up for you,
and good ole' Slipp didn't even forget the bow on top! SEE the odd
twists and turns! WITNESS the loops of logic! LIVE the Slipp
experience! Ladies and gentlemen, step right up and for a skin
crawling few moments, BE ISLIPP.

Slipps's main problem has always been his employment of psychological
defense mechanisms (in particular PROJECTION, where one falsely
attributes ones own unacceptable feelings, impulses or thoughts to
another individual or object), his own love of ass-kissing/crowd-
pleasing and finally his inability to function in an adult world
where everything is not black and white, but varying shades of gray.
His own opening post to this thread is simply a succinct
extrapolation of all these typical Slippian themes, neatly boxed and
categorized for your convenience.

Jamison, S.J. Perelman, George S. Kaufman and Larry David no. But
wasn't this the premise of a Nathaniel West novella? MISS
LONELYHEARTS II or something?

Afa Dollah Posted - 31 December 2001 16:0
Well, this has been GREAT! This whole episode, when paired with the
Stoogeworld post, has it all. I mean EVERYTHING. Comedy, drama,
romance, action, pathos, a mad genius supervillain taking over the
world by setting himself up as a god (a great ploy, incidentally,
used by everyone from Alexander of Macedon to Fu Manchu)...an
innocent, seemingly helpless hero who, like Frodo, finds the strength
to do battle with an overwhelming ancient evil, armed only with his
magic keyboard...there are people missing in action who later turn up
hale and hearty...almost every stock element I can think of except a
stagecoach being attacked by Indians, and it ain't over yet.I LOVE
IT!

I mean it. This was totally worth taking a break from the smoking
hookah and current meeting of the Afa Dollah Harem of Hotties(tm) (T-
shirts available) taking place poolside. The blender motor needed a
break anyway, it was starting to smoke as well.

jamison, ShempShady, allow me to introduce MY theory. As I say over
at Stoogeworld, I am now firmly convinced that SLIPP and sickdrjoe
are one and the same. A shadowy Internet mastermind so bored by
interactions with the rest of mankind that he takes refuge in his own
mind by creating different personae to do battle. After all, do we
know for sure that either of them REALLY exist as seperate
individuals? They COULD just be some 69 year-old woman in Nebraska,
right? Only The Shadow knows....

"What about your work?"
"Work is for slaves. Love is for free men. Where can we go?"

jamison Posted - 31 December 2001 16:6
Islipp/Sickdrjoe's secret identity is Criswell...

sickdrjoe Posted - 31 December 2001 17:24
My friends, can your hearts stand the shocking truth of GRAVE ROBBERS
FROM OUTER SPACE???

Huh? LLOYD Criswell? Who HE?

Squid McGuffey Posted - 31 December 2001 17:40
This is getting too much like the episode of the Twilight Zone
entitled "The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street."

Looks like that one got little Timmy

Sten Posted - 31 December 2001 19:16

Y'know? Slipp DOES often sound like a 69-yr old woman in Nebraska,
and Joe has been known to refer to younger posters as "sonny". Afa,
maybe you're on to something!

Nah, finding out they were the same person would be like finding out
Tim Leary was a government snitch. INCONCEIVABLE!

Now I've already got a Larry hookah from the C3 store, but where can
I get one of your shirts, Afa? I wanna be a Harem hottie, too!

NoseHonk Posted - 31 December 2001 20:20
Hmm....sdj, GRAVE ROBBERS is a little too blasphemous. How about PLAN
9?

Or you can come to my place, "The G-String," (named after the highest
string on the bass, you perverts). As my lovely long legged,
redheaded, identical triplet assitances Candy, Ginger, and Kitty
would say, "We dig Doug!"

(Clears throat) I just had the most wonderful dream above, but
reality now rears it's ugly head. Sick and SLIPP the same person?! If
that's true, I'll throw all of my Cds and Stooge tapes into the
Atlantic Ocean.

ShempShady Posted - 31 December 2001 22:45
Afa: I've had similar suspicions, which I've implied in posts before,
and once explicitly stated in a post—which I quickly deleted and
replaced with something else altogether.

I AM fully convinced that SLIPP is a bogus individual. WHO 'he'
really is still remains to be demonstrated.

sickdrjoe Posted - 31 December 2001 23:3
Truly, you guys have cut me to the quick.

Call me Robey. Call me CUE, even! But not Slipp; never Slipp.

the Eel Posted - 1 January 2002 2:37
I guess this "Who Is SLIPP?" mystery can go down in the books with
real mysteries like Who was the Man In The Iron Mask? or Who was
Harry Whitecliff? or even Who was Jack The Ripper? The answers to all
these are...we may never know.

Thank you guys for this message board and Jim for reviving this thread.  12/29/01 was the day my uncle unexpectedly died, so that was the bad day I was referring to.  Knowing I read this insanity while going through the emotions of losing a loved one makes the memory even more surreal.  SLIPP is one insane motherfucker, and this thread got me a lot of laughs.  One of these days, I'm going to slip into my Hugh Hefner bathrobe, pour myself a glass of new wine, and read these SLIPP threads like the true works of art they are.  Thanks for the preservation you guys are doing, and if I come across any more gold nuggets, I will contribute them to this forum.  I do know this was literally days before SLIPP's infamous "suicide" letter.  Haven't looked around enough yet on this board, but has anybody found that one?

Hey Doug, first of all it's our pleasure. Second, I believe the fake suicide letter was sent to a "select few", and I wasn't one of them. If anybody can find that, or the whole Meditran mess, I would be grateful.

I did come across some old email exchanges between you and Slipp that are pretty funny, and I wanted your permission before putting them here.

These wouldn't be the e-mail exchanges where he was bribing me with 30 different things to be his friend, would they?  Oh yes, print that or any other classic e-mail you can find, permission granted!

Personally, I suspect that Slipp is the mysterious man who places flowers on Edgar Allan Poe's grave every year, and has been doing so for decades.

But I'm reasonably certain that he didn't kill Jon Benet Ramsey.

And neither did John Mark Karr. He's a wacko alright but I don't think he killed JonBenet.

The worst thing about this current tabloid hoo-hah is that I have the same last name as the suspect; although it's spelled differently, it's pronounced exactly the same way. I'm sick and tired of turning on the news and hearing how I've been taken into custody in Thailand on child molestation charges, I've been rambling on senselessly about killing the kid, etc., etc., etc.,

For the record, I've never been anywhere near Thailand, although I do like Thai food...

Whoops, I think I've just incriminated myself!

Was Sickdrjoe?

I mean, was Dr. Joe sick?

A few long-term members have come out of the woodwork since the creation of the ISlipp board, with a special reverence for the wit of Sickdrjoe. What became of him?

Sickdrjoe wandered off one day into the middle distance, never to be seen again. He's reportedly in Egypt, searching for King Rootin-Tootin's tomb...

Actually, he made a post here just a few months ago, then he went away again. Yeah, the Doc is one hell of a funny writer, and his Slipp-slapping routine is one for the books.

"Shane! Shane! Come back, Shane!"

I'm honored to take his place as one of the Moderators on this board. I've got some mighty big shoes to fill— but that's all right, since I also have some mighty big feet.
