I found this site ... http://www.futureme.org/ ... in which you can send an email to yourself that you'll receive in the future at a specified date. So, it seems that Larry REALLY can "take a letter" to Dear Me.

Larry: Good morning, Miss Lapdale.
Lapdale: Good morning, Mr. Larry.
Larry: Take a letter, Miss Lapdale.
Lapdale: Yes, Mr. Larry. (sits in Larry's lap) I'm ready.
Larry: To my Siamese representative, Mr. R. Me ... Dear Me ... Um, I, uh ... I ... Ayai-yai-yai-yai!

The tacks won't come out! Well, they went in ... maybe they're income tacks.

I always thought Larry said, "To my Siamese representative, Mr. Ah Me".

As in whenever George "Kingfish" Stevens would get himself into a jam, he would always moan, "Ah me!"

Perhaps Larry DID say "Ah Me" ... I wasn't listening too closely when I ran that clip by on VHS for transcription the other day. It's still one of my favorite Stooge eps, pitting Moe against Larry with Larry getting the upper hand!

Either one of us could be right. I'll settle for that until/unless we are able to see an actual script.

Also, it's the only episode featuring Cedric the trained clam! ("Cedric, what do we do when we don't like somebody?")
