KEN BEHRENS SHOW, THE - Interview With Joe Besser

Air Date/Released Tuesday, November 1, 1983
Station/Studio WJBC-AM (radio) Bloomington IL
Host/Star Ken Behrens
Featuring Joe Besser (Solo)

Ken Behrens hosted a midday, weekday talk show on WJBC-AM in Bloomington, IL, often featuring topics on the host's love of comedy and interviewing celebrities.

Circa November 1983, Behrens conducted a telephone interview with Joe Besser, who discussed his entire career, including his time as one of The Three Stooges.

The airdate is estimated. One source says November 1984, but Behrens mentions that the Stooges just received their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; that happened on Aug. 30, 1983. Also, Joe mentions his autobiography ("Not Just a Stooge") as upcoming, and it was published in mid-1984. Accordingly, this radio interview is estimated to have actually occurred in 1983.

The accompanying image is Joe speaking at the 1983 Walk of Fame ceremony.
