The Miami Beach world premiere of 20th-Century Fox's SITTING PRETTY (1948) served as a celebrity charity event for Variety Club's Heart Fund. The 10:45PM - 11:15PM broadcast featured stars arriving at the Lincoln Theatre.
A newspaper report indicates that both Fox and Universal were scheduled to film newsreels at the event. Whether these films still exist, or if the Stooges appeared in any footage is unknown.
