'3 STOOGES DAY'

During the Stooges' promotional tour for THE THREE STOOGES GO AROUND THE WORLD IN A DAZE (1963), they made a stop at WDSU-TV for four live broadcast appearances on August 12 which the station had proclaimed as "3 Stooges Day."


Available information does not mention TV host Wayne Mack, but it is presumed he participated in the Stooges' TV appearances that day. Mack was the host for the Stooges' shorts on WDSU, as 'The Great McNutt.' He later costarred with them in THE OUTLAWS IS COMING (1965) as 'Jesse James.'
