McDonald’s used The Three Stooges in its 1987 "The Triple Option" campaign, in this 30 second commercial to promote a $1.79 meal deal for a few of its signature sandwiches and fries. Using clips from NO CENSUS, NO FEELING (1940), census taker Stooges are seen canvassing football players for information on McDonald's price promotion. It ends with the fadeout from the film, with a McDonald’s "M" rainbow at the end of the street on which the boys are being chased.
