GALAXY GOOF-UPS, THE - Vampire of Space

Featuring Joe Besser (Solo)

Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, and sidekicks Scare Bear and Quack-Up, are THE GALAXY GOOF-UPS (1978 - 1979), a bumbling interplanetary police force under the command of Captain Snerdley. When they're not enforcing space law, the Goof-Ups can be found at the Galaxy Disco.

Joe Besser is the voice of Scare Bear.

Space vampire Count Vampula plots to take over the galaxy by putting Capt. Snerdley under his power, defeating the Goof-Ups, and creating an army of zombies.


13 episodes were produced, initially airing as a segment of the 90-minute YOGI's SPACE RACE (joined by two additional H-B shows, THE BUFORD FILES and THE GALLOPING GHOST). After 8 weeks, GALAXY GOOF-UPS spun off into its own half-hour show.
