JEANNIE - The Jinx

Saturday morning animated series, adapted from the NBC sitcom I DREAM OF JEANNIE (1965 - 1970). "Teenaged" Jeannie is released from a 1,500-year imprisonment in her bottle, by teenage surfer Corey Anders (STAR WARS' Mark Hamill). She is joined in her new life by Junior-Genie Babu (Joe Besser), a well-meaning bumbler whose magical call to action, "Yabble Dabble!," creates one goof-up after another. Complicating their adventures are Corey's goofy best friend Henry, and snooty rich kid S. Melvin Farthinghill.

More magical goof-ups lead Babu (Joe Besser) to believe that he's a jinx, and exile himself from Jeannie, Corey & Henry. Jeannie asks the Great Hadjii for advice and help, sending the kids on a citywide search for the depressed genie, discovering a trail of mishap in Babu's wake. So, Jeannie creates magical situations for Babu to resolve, hoping to restore his confidence.
