JEANNIE - The Dog

Saturday morning animated series, adapted from the NBC sitcom I DREAM OF JEANNIE (1965 - 1970). "Teenaged" Jeannie is released from a 1,500-year imprisonment in her bottle, by teenage surfer Corey Anders (STAR WARS' Mark Hamill). She is joined in her new life by Junior-Genie Babu (Joe Besser), a well-meaning bumbler whose magical call to action, "Yabble Dabble!," creates one goof-up after another. Complicating their adventures are Corey's goofy best friend Henry, and snooty rich kid S. Melvin Farthinghill.

Babu has failed the "disappearing" genie spell 750 times in 1,500 years. The Great Hadjii is angry, but taking his first vacation, he asks Jeannie to look after his dog Salome. Salome proves to be a handful, with a penchant for pick-pocketing and an attachment to Corey. So attached, the dog refuses to return to Hadjii, and Corey finds himself transformed into a mutt in the Army Canine Corps.
