Saturday morning animated series, adapted from the NBC sitcom I DREAM OF JEANNIE (1965 - 1970). "Teenaged" Jeannie is released from a 1,500-year imprisonment in her bottle, by teenage surfer Corey Anders (STAR WARS' Mark Hamill). She is joined in her new life by Junior-Genie Babu (Joe Besser), a well-meaning bumbler whose magical call to action, "Yabble Dabble!," creates one goof-up after another. Complicating their adventures are Corey's goofy best friend Henry, and snooty rich kid S. Melvin Farthinghill.
Henry wants Corey to date his visiting cousin Bunny, a former ugly duckling who turns out to be a knockout, to Jeannie's regret. The new couple's day at the carnival turns to misadventure when jealous Jeannie disrupts their date. The misadventures continue when fickle Bunny leaves Corey, and Corey's mother give Jeannie's bottle (and Jeannie) to a junkman. More trouble, when Corey needs Babu's help to rescue Jeannie.
