Saturday morning animated series, adapted from the NBC sitcom I DREAM OF JEANNIE (1965 - 1970). "Teenaged" Jeannie is released from a 1,500-year imprisonment in her bottle, by teenage surfer Corey Anders (STAR WARS' Mark Hamill). She is joined in her new life by Junior-Genie Babu (Joe Besser), a well-meaning bumbler whose magical call to action, "Yabble Dabble!," creates one goof-up after another. Complicating their adventures are Corey's goofy best friend Henry, and snooty rich kid S. Melvin Farthinghill.
Corey's refurbished sailboat is entered in the big race, and girlfriend Barbie will be his race partner. Between wanting her master to win, and jealousy of Barbie, Jeannie's interference is poised as storm's-a-brewing, and Corey quickly finds himself banned from the race. At least until Melvin and new first mate Barbie challenge our heroes, Jeannie and Babu arrange for reinstatement, and the race is on!
