JEANNIE - Helen of Troy

Saturday morning animated series, adapted from the NBC sitcom I DREAM OF JEANNIE (1965 - 1970). "Teenaged" Jeannie is released from a 1,500-year imprisonment in her bottle, by teenage surfer Corey Anders (STAR WARS' Mark Hamill). She is joined in her new life by Junior-Genie Babu (Joe Besser), a well-meaning bumbler whose magical call to action, "Yabble Dabble!," creates one goof-up after another. Complicating their adventures are Corey's goofy best friend Henry, and snooty rich kid S. Melvin Farthinghill.

Corey's school report about Helen of Troy hits a snag when Jeannie convinces him to give up a trip to the library for a round of golf. When Corey learns the library is now closed for repairs, Jeannie comes to the rescue by transporting Helen to present-day for personal instruction. The plan backfires when Helen takes an interest in Corey and modern society, and Jeannie takes yet another interest in jealousy.
