JEANNIE - The Power Failure

Saturday morning animated series, adapted from the NBC sitcom I DREAM OF JEANNIE (1965 - 1970). "Teenaged" Jeannie is released from a 1,500-year imprisonment in her bottle, by teenage surfer Corey Anders (STAR WARS' Mark Hamill). She is joined in her new life by Junior-Genie Babu (Joe Besser), a well-meaning bumbler whose magical call to action, "Yabble Dabble!," creates one goof-up after another. Complicating their adventures are Corey's goofy best friend Henry, and snooty rich kid S. Melvin Farthinghill.

Corey enters his souped-up bike in the motorcycle rally. When the Queen of the Rally arouses jealousy, Jeannie borrows the bike to go to the beauty parlor in an attempt to compete. The hairstylist clips Jeannie's ponytail, the source of her magic, leaving her powerless. But, Jeannie made the motorcycle invisible before losing her powers, and now can't reverse the spell before the big rally show. Babu heads to Arabia to find Hadjii for help.
