Saturday morning animated series, adapted from the NBC sitcom I DREAM OF JEANNIE (1965 - 1970). "Teenaged" Jeannie is released from a 1,500-year imprisonment in her bottle, by teenage surfer Corey Anders (STAR WARS' Mark Hamill). She is joined in her new life by Junior-Genie Babu (Joe Besser), a well-meaning bumbler whose magical call to action, "Yabble Dabble!," creates one goof-up after another. Complicating their adventures are Corey's goofy best friend Henry, and snooty rich kid S. Melvin Farthinghill.
Jeannie's interference at Corey's track & field practice leads everyone to think he's the greatest athlete alive. The Coach recruits him to lead the school in the State final decathlon against Melvin's academy, and once Corey realizes he's been magically helped, it's too late to back out. He's determined to compete with no help, but can he win? Jeannie and Babu conjure up ancient Greek Olympians to instill confidence.
