Saturday morning animation series spoof of THE WILD WILD WEST and MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE, the Houndcats are a group of cunning and bumbling feline & canine Secret Service agents in the 1910s Southwest U.S. Team leader Stutz is assisted by master-of-disguise Putty Puss (Joe Besser), inventor genius Rhubarb, IQ-challenged strong-dog Mussel Mutt, jack-of-all-trades Ding Dog, and the team's high tech jalopy Spark-Plug.

Prof. Jones accidentally mails plans for his new government invention to his son at a dude ranch. The Raven escapes from prison and heads to the ranch to steal the plans. Stutz and Putty Puss go undercover as parents of young Mussel Mutt, to protect Jeff and the plans until they can be returned to Washington D.C. But the Raven kidnaps Jeff, and the chase is on.
