JOEY BISHOP SHOW, THE - Andy Williams Visits Joey

Joey Barnes hosts a network, late-night New York talk show. Episodes revolve around his professional and personal life, with celebrities appearing as themselves. At home are Joey's beautiful wife Abby, and maid Hilda. Joe Besser costars as Mr. Jillson, the barely competent apartment building superintendent, a high-strung man with a heart of gold. Rounding out the main characters is Larry Corbett, Joey's best friend, head writer and manager.

Andy Williams appears as Joey's guest and sings More. Arriving at home, they expect their wives to ask them to entertain for the 5th year in a row at the women's club benefit. When the girls announce that they've booked replacements, Andy and Joey assume they're being conned... but, boy, are they ever wrong!


In the series' 2nd and 3rd seasons it aired in color, one of the first situation comedies to do so.
