Sitcom adventures of Joan Stevens, the loving but slightly wacky wife of domestic court judge Bradley Stevens. Episodes would feature Judge Stevens resolving the differences of people in his court, by relating his wife's escapades in similar domestic situations.

Jealous that his friends are successful and able to buy their wives luxuries, Brad decides to quit the judgeship and become a business executive. Joan knows that her husband will never be happy in his new job, and fights his attempts to force a fur coat on her. At the furrier, the Stevens encounter an unhappy executive (Joe Besser), who's reluctantly buying his domineering wife a mink coat.
