CHARLIE & COMPANY - Operation Richmond

Flip Wilson and Gladys Knight star in this family sitcom, depicting the blue-collar Richmonds, Charlie and Diana raising their three children. Inspired by Bill Cosby's popular sitcom on NBC, it lasted only one season.

The Richmonds tight budget is complicated when Charlie needs a hernia operation.

Entering the kitchen, Charlie greets his kids with "Well, there’s Larry and Moe. What’s Curly still doing on the phone?"
