In the episode opener, in response to that day's news that AG Bondi canceled a controversial speaking engagement claiming a torn cornea as an excuse, THE LATE SHOW produced a satirical commercial featuring The Three Stooges and their patented eyepokes. Calling a 555 # for "Eye Pokers" will provide you with eye-damage excuses for any occasion.
Eyepoke clips are taken from SLIPPERY SILKS (1936), THREE DARK HORSES (1952), CASH AND CARRY (1937), SCHEMING SCHEMERS (1956), DIZZY PILOTS (1943), FLING IN THE RING (1955) and CALLING ALL CURS (1939).
