SIMPSONS, THE – White Christmas Blues

Air Date/Released Sunday, December 15, 2013
Station/Studio Fox / 20th Century Fox TV

Satirical, animated sitcom adventures of the dysfunctional, working class Simpsons family. The strange town of Springfield is their home, populated by a mixture of neurotics and socially stunted weirdos.

The nuclear plant’s radiation leak creates Springfield’s first snow in years, and causes a rush of curious and rabid tourists. Capitalism rules as Christmas shopping prices escalate and Marge turns the Simpsons’ home into a boarding house. Will Springfield’s holiday be ruined by commercialism? One of the boarders’ kids is watching a holiday video game, “Frosty the Hitman.” The Wolverine-styled snowman goes on a rampage, killing various Christmas characters and destroying a video display of “endless Christmas Christmas Specials”... in the display is a DVD of “The Three Scrooges.”
