REN & STIMPY SHOW

The adventures of Ren Höek & Stimpson J. Cat, an emotionally unstable chihuahua and good-natured, dimwitted cat. Satirical cartoon, known for its off-color humor, sexual innuendo and violence.

Actor Billy West is the voice of 'Stimpy', with his amped-up version of Larry Fine's voice. Billy later did both characters' voices, replacing Kricfalusi as 'Ren'. This entry represents the entire series; 8/11/91 was its premiere date. It ran for 5 season on Nickelodeon (1991 - 1996), 52 episodes comprised of 93 toons plus a 1990 pilot presentation cartoon "Big House Blues." It returned for 7 new episodes in 2003 on the SpikeTV network, as REN & STIMPY ADULT CARTOON PARTY.


Nov. 18, 1993, Billy appeared on THE TONIGHT SHOW and discussed his love of the Stooges and demonstrated his 'Larry' voice (see this Tribute filmography's entry for that show).
