SIMPSONS, THE - Bart's Comet

Air Date/Released Sunday, February 5, 1995
Station/Studio Fox / 20th Century Fox TV

Satirical, animated sitcom adventures of the dysfunctional, working class Simpsons family. The strange town of Springfield is their home, populated by a mixture of neurotics and socially stunted weirdos.

As a punishment, Bart is assigned to help Principal Skinner with his 4:30AM astronomy studies. Bart discovers a new comet, and everyone is shocked to learn that it's on a collision course with the Earth, specifically Springfield. Circumstances strand the population in the town, and praying for a miracle to save them. Skinner shows Bart some of the constellations, among them "The Three Wise Men" which is, of course, Moe, Larry & Curly.
