An amnesia-stricken woman has built a new life in a small, countryside town as a school teacher. A single mother who was pregnant when found several years earlier with no memories of her life, she's engaged to a devoted, loving fiancee. A car accident triggers a series of memory flashes, and a murder attempt begins to make her realize that she once was an assassin for the CIA. Joining forces with the P.I. who once tried to help her find her past, she sets out to follow clues to her prior life. What she is led to is a group of treasonous CIA agents planning a huge terrorist attack on U.S. civilians. And they will go to any lengths to stop her from interfering.
In one scene, a doctor (and former CIA operative) and his mother are seen watching DISORDER IN THE COURT (1936) on television.
