SIMPSONS, THE - The Mansion Family

Air Date/Released Sunday, January 23, 2000
Station/Studio Fox / 20th Century Fox TV

Satirical, animated sitcom adventures of the dysfunctional, working class Simpsons family. The strange town of Springfield is their home, populated by a mixture of neurotics and socially stunted weirdos.

Mr. Burns goes to the Mayo Clinic for a check-up, and asks the Simpsons to sit his mansion while he's away. Enjoying the life of a billionaire, Homer takes his friends on a pleasure cruise on Burns' yacht, and they're boarded by Chinese pirates. At the Mayo Clinic, the doctor informs Burns that he suffers from all existing diseases, several newly discovered illnesses, and a little bit of hysterical pregnancy. This is known as "Three Stooges Syndrome," with so many diseases present, they cancel each other out. To demonstrate, the doctor takes a handful of disease-puppets and attempts to shove all thru a door at once... accompanied by the sounds of Moe, Larry and Curly unsuccessfully doing the same.
