In the 1950 - 1953 Korean War, the doctors, nurses and staff of the 4077 M*A*S*H, 3 miles from the front, maintain sanity between grueling surgical emergencies with humor, hijinks and personal relationships.
Col. Potter is upset to learn one of his patients required touch-up surgery from Hawkeye. Concerned that he may be losing his surgical skills, Sherman consults Army psychiatrist Maj. Sidney Freedman. Meanwhile, Winchester's patience reaches its limit dealing with the sloppiness of Capts. Pierce and Hunnicutt. He decides to fight fire with fire by "out-disgusting" his Swamp roommates.
Freedman's first stop at the 4077 is the Swamp, where he finds the warring Hawkeye, BJ and Winchester. Arriving at the CO's tent, Potter asks Sidney, Bump into anybody else, yet? And Freedman replies, Just Larry, Moe and Curly, over in the Swamp.
