FAMILY GUY - Partial Terms of Endearment

Air Date/Released Sunday, June 20, 2010
Station/Studio Fox / 20th Century Fox TV

Animated sitcom featuring the misadventures of the Griffin family: obese simpleton patriarch Peter Griffin and his wife Lois, two teenagers, a sociopath-leaning infant, and a genius-level talking dog.

Against Peter's wishes, Lois agrees to surrogate a baby for two friends. Peter unsuccessfully tries to "accidentally" cause an accident for Lois, so she'll lose the baby. The friends die in a car crash, and Lois decides to abort. Anti-abortion activists raise doubts in Peter's mind, and he and Lois consider going thru with the pregnancy. An activist shows Peter a video of people who never came to be because of abortion... a man who killed Adolph Hitler, Osama bin Laden's U.S.-loving brother, and a man who became the 4th member of the Four Stooges.

Due to the subject matter, and dark handling of it in this episode, the Fox Network did not air this 8th season episode in the U.S. The airdate indicated refers to its premiere in the UK on Channel BBC3. Fox Home Entertainment released this single episode on DVD in the States, with bonus features, in September 2010; it's not available in the series' 8th Season box set.
