The Loyal Order of the Buffalos announces a "Most Beautiful Baby Contest" for the lodge members' children, setting off a rivalry between the Flintstones and Rubbles. Fred and Barney go to campaigning the residents of Bedrock, and soon turn the contest into a war. Infants Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm take matters into their own hands by running away from home.
Three Stooges characters appear as arguing residents of a house Fred and Barney campaign at, whose disagreement includes using sledgehammers, plungers, and other "household" utensils. Although obviously the Stooges, H-B tweeked their appearances, i.e., making Larry much taller than Moe & Curly.
