U.S. adaptation of a popular British sitcom, it features two immature roommates and the patient, frequently annoyed girlfriend of one. The American version ran less than two seasons, with its final broadcast on 12/17/97 (and 7 unaired episodes). Two of the series leads (Ron Eldard, Justine Bateman) were replaced with new characters after season 1, following repeated clashes between the actors and producers.
The opening credit sequence featured a series of clips taken from classic comedy films, primarily silent-era, with women slapping, punching, etc., men. BRIDELESS GROOM's sequence of Christine McIntyre slapping Shemp wrapped up the credits.
