Janitors, the Stooges are cleaning a doctor's office when a wounded crook and his two henchmen enter. They try to tell him they aren't doctors, but the crooks demand treatment. The wounded man accidentally falls out of the window during the "operation" and the Stooges escape. But they're now on the run from the crook's accomplices and the cops who've mistaken them for the fugitives.

When the cops return, there's a police car behind them, then the camera shows the Stooges looking out the window, and when the camera goes back to the cops, the car behind them is suddenly gone.
- Drill Mistake
After Moe takes the hand-drill and sticks it in Curly's body hidden under sheets (which is really a dummy), Moe cranks the drill too hard and the sheet covering Curly's dummy begins to twist and rip and the dummy itself begins twisting and ripping, too!
- Jump in Picture
As Moe and Larry are backing towards each other while Curly is in the middle, a noticeable jump cut occurs in the film, then Moe suddenly appears in a different position.
- Mysterious Sound / Revealing Mistake
After water sprays out of Curly's mouth the first time and hits Moe, you can hear this strange loud squeak sound that most likely came from the source of water that was hidden behind Curly's mouth.
- Plaster in Curly's Hair
When Curly shakes himself after falling into the plaster, there isn't any plaster in his hair, but when Dudley Dickerson turns around to see Curly behind him, Curly's head is completely covered in plaster.
- Story Continuity
There are 3 crooks. The cops take Joe, the wounded crook, into custody after the Stooges drop him out a window. Later, the cops are still looking for 3 crooks.
- X-ray noise
After Moe pulls the fish out of Curly, the x-ray machine is off but you can still here the nosie that it was making.

- Knocking Moe out
When the Stooges are running from enemies, Moe sneaks past something. Larry, who's on the other side, sees Moe and, mistaking him for an enemy, hits him on the head with a mallet or club. He then runs all the way around to see the "enemy" he knocked out, but he sees Moe instead. Larry says "Hey, Moe, where were you? I just knocked a guy cold right here!" As Larry is demonstrating how he did it, Moe snatches Larry's mallet/club away and knocks him out with it. Also used in: FRIGHT NIGHT · FLING IN THE RING · HAVE ROCKET -- WILL TRAVEL

I LOVED this short! I thought it was a real funny one, the scenes with Dudley Dickerson were really funny. The look on Dudley's face when he gets scared is so priceless =]

To possibly shed some light on the reason for the Bud Jamison misconception, the second half of this short is fairly reminiscent of the second half of the short, "Dizzy Detectives" in which Jamison plays chief of police just before the "pass key" scene. I can see how this might cause the confusion. This short is pure greatness in my opinion. When Larry was startled by the giant jack-in-the-box face and jumped into Moe's arms, not only was it hilarious, but it reminded me of "Scooby-Doo" because Scooby would jump into Shaggy's arms (a few times, it was vice verca, which was all the funnier!) and the one holding the other would run away in fear, carrying him! You just know that seeing Curly covered in plaster would scare Shaggy and Scooby as well as half the cast members of this short! I found it strangely hilarious when Moe and Larry were taking Curly to the x-ray machine by grabbing his ears while he was laughing! And of course, Dickerson's scenes were classic!

There is something that also makes me crinch a little when I see Dickerson play this same sort of character in the Stooges' shorts. It seems racist on the face of it. But then stop to think. What's Dudley doing that is different from the boys? Dudley is scared, makes an exaggerated reaction to the "ghost" and runs away. That's exactly what Larry and Moe do as well. Dudley speaks in an exaggerated Afro- American accent. How many times do the boys speak in an exaggerated Southern, German, or Yiddish accent in their shorts? If we call the Dudley's scenes racist, we would have to also say all the boys' scenes are racist vs. North-European Caucasians. Let's remember, it's supposed to be funny; it's supposed to be "stupid." It's not supposed to be real. That's why we watch and laugh.
