Newsreel report on the raising of the Christmas tree in New York's Rockefeller Center, and the Hollywood Santa Claus Parade. Grand Marshal Charlton Heston waves to the crowd, followed by Moe, Larry and Curly Joe. The Stooges ride in a car with Los Angeles TV personalities Don Lamond and Barbara Coleman. The parade was held on November 25, 1959.
Don Lamond was Larry Fine's son-in-law, married at that time to Phyllis Fine. He provided opening credits narration for several of the Stooges' feature films, and costarred in THE OUTLAWS IS COMING! (1965) as Rance Roden.
