Featuring Moe, Larry and Shemp
20 min. (TV Pilot)
Moe, Larry and Shemp are three bumbling interior decorators who manage to trash their clients' home.
From The Three Stooges Scrapbook, written by Joan Howard Maurer and Jeff & Greg Lenburg...
"The pilot, which took one day to film, was never aired. B.B. Kahane, Columbia Picture's Vice-President of Business Affairs, stopped the show from being broadcast. Kahane warned the Stooges that a contract stipulation restricted them from performing in a TV series that might compete with their two-reel comedies. Columbia further threatened to cancel the boys' contract and take them to court if they tried to sell the series. To avert a legal hassle, the pilot was shelved and the project abandoned."

MOE, LARRY, and SHEMP: (As they are saying in a very happiy unison about the picture as the have huge gleeful looks on their faces): "Oh, boy!" \'Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho\'."
We now see the very happy Shemp, Moe, and Larry happily ripping off that picture together hoping to find behind it an even more beautiful woman. Larry, Shemp, and Moe are now in the process of ripping down that picture in a state of hurried happiness as they are now exposing a picture of an ugly, witchie looking person, with big bugged-out eyes, huge, ugly nose with a couple of warts on it, very wrinkled skin, gigantic sized pointy ears, almost bald, except for a few whisps of side hairs and one little bun on the top of her head, several teeth missing and an ugly demonic look on her face.
Moe, Shemp, and Larry are now looking at the picture in a horrified state as they are now getting ready to beat their heads on the wall and are yelling out in disagreement as Moe\'s hair is standing on end to the picture. \'Yee, yee, yee, yee, yah, yah, yah, yah.\' Shemp is standing there with his hand on Moe\'s shoulder comforting him as Shemp is gazing at the picture in a horrified state as well as Larry.
We now see Moe, Shemp, and Larry ready to beat their heads against the ugly picture. As Moe, Larry, and Shemp are now approaching the ugly picture, a huge hand with a boxing glove on it comes crashing through the wall and the picture hitting Moe, Shemp, and Larry in their foreheads hard.
We now see Moe, Larry, and Shemp turning around and staggering a bit rubbing their heads in pain after they have been hit by the boxing glove through the picture.
MOE to LARRY and SHEMP: (As he is now staggering and regaining his balance says): "What happened?"
LARRY to MOE and SHEMP: (As Larry is also regaining his balance from being socked in the kisser by the golve): "Who did that?"
SHEMP to MOE and LARRY: (As Shemp is also regaining his balance and is rubbing his head in pain says): "I don\'t know!"
We now see Larry going back and taking one final look behind the ugly witch picture while Moe and Shemp are still rubbing their heads in pain.
We now see Mrs. Pennyfeather entering her living room quarters where Moe and Shemp are still rubbing their heads from pain.
MRS. PENNYFEATHER to MOE, SHEMP, and LARRY: (With a look of wonderment on her face and in a worried voice tone): "Oh, boys, ah, boys, I forgot to tell you, please be very careful with that table, it\'s a very fine old table." (She is pointing to the dining table in the living room quarters).
As Mrs. Pennyfeather was asking Moe, Shemp, and Larry to be careful with the table they have looks of dazement on their faces and are giving the table and then Mrs. Pennyfeather looks of agreement.
MOE to MRS. PENNYFEATHER: (As Shemp and Larry are also standing there with looks of mischievous wonderment on their faces as Moe says): "All right!"
We now see Mrs. Pennyfeather exiting as she is now trusting Moe, Larry, and Shemp to be careful with her prize, antique table.
LARRY to MRS. PENNYFEATHER: (As Mrs. Pennyfeather is now leaving and Larry is raising his hand in agreement about being careful with the table says, in a low, muffled type of voice): "Yeah!"
MOE to SHEMP and LARRY: (As Moe is looking at Larry and Shemp in a devilish manner and with mischief in his voice says): "We\'ll make it look new again!"
MOE to LARRY and SHEMP: (As Moe is giving them instructions in a professional manner says): "Start on the table first boys, let\'s go!"
LARRY and SHEMP to MOE: (With looks of happiness on their faces and mischief in their voices): "All right!"
We now see Shemp, Larry, and Moe picking up their paint pails and are running over to the table in a happy manner as they are now commencing to \'PAINT\' the table.
MOE to SHEMP and LARRY: (As they are now getting ready to \'RUIN\', (Oops), \'PAINT\', the table): "Have you your brush here?"
LARRY to MOE: (As Larry is now commencing to paint the table says): "Yeah!"
SHEMP to MOE: (As Shemp is also getting ready to paint a portion of the table): "All right!"
We are now on Moe and Larry as they are happily busy at painting the table. Shemp is now happily humming to himself as he is busy at painting. Larry is also happily doing his portion of the table. Moe is also happily humming as he is now painting his portion of the table along with painting Larry\'s backside.

LARRY to MOE: (As Larry is now returning back to his painting chore and has a look of dumbfoundedness on his face mumbles to Moe): "Yeah, all right!"
Shemp, Moe, and Larry are now once again humming happily as they are still painting the table in glee.
We now see Shemp who is bent down and is painting one of the table legs and Larry is painting the side of the table right next to Shemp\'s face. Larry is now happily painting the table along with Shemp\'s face and head. Larry has not noticed that he is now in the process of painting Shemp\'s face and head.
SHEMP to LARRY: (As Shemp is in a mad state and is shouting at Larry madly): "Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh\'."

LARRY to MOE: (As Larry is now thoroughly mad at Moe and is bending down to fill his brush with paint is yelling back at Moe in a mad and muffled ton of voice): "All right, go ahea, blamming me for every thing."

Larry is happily slapping paint on the table. Shemp has now stood up in madness about Moe painting him in the face and head. Shemp has now slapped Moe in the face with his paint brush.

We now see Larry standing there smiling mischievously as Shemp has now thrown down Larry\'s paint brush onto the table. Shemp has now reached over and has slapped Moe once again in his face first with his painted hand and then with his paint brush.
We now see Shemp standing behind the furiously mad Moe who is now outrageously mad at Larry and is coming after Larry with his paint pail and brush.
LARRY to MOE: (As Larry is now putting up his hands gesturing Moe to stop and is yelling at Moe in a frantic tone of voice): "Wait a minute, no Moe, it\'s his fauly, no you don\'t!"

Put that down here, and I will put that down here."
We are now on Larry who is now frantically at work trying to adhere a sheet of wall covering with a staple gun to the wall as he is mumbling to himself, "Right here, right here, right here."

Shemp is still in the background happily applying his table cover and is mumbling to himself happily: "Oh, that looks great."
Larry is now busy getting another sheet of wall covering ready to adhere. Mr. Pennyfeather is holding that sheet of wall covering for Moe, as Moe has now gone behind Mr. Pennyfeather and has backed into him not realizing it as Mr. Pennyfeather looses his balance and goes crashing into his wife and covering her face with the wall covering.

Very funny TV pilot. Such a shame it never evolved into a weekly show thanks to the knuckleheads at Columbia. It's interesting watching the boys in front of a live audience. Certainly, there are spots where you miss the sound effects from the shorts & there are a few flubs, but overall it's a very strong effort with great supporting players Emil Sitka & Symona Boniface. Enjoyed the reused gags from Tassels in the Air/A Snitch in Time with the table painting & the guy trying to sell the stooges a pressure cooker (My name is Fink; go ahead bud).
