Featuring Moe, Larry and Curly
16.9 min. (Short Subject)
Moe, Larry & Curly are in jail when they learn that their father (also played by Curly) has divorced their mother and is about to marry a golddigger named Daisy. The Stooges break out to stop the wedding, and Daisy mistakes Curly for "Popsie-Wopsie" after he shaves his sideburns. Seizing the opportunity, Curly takes Poppa's place at the wedding. But unknown to the Stooges, Daisy and her accomplices Butch and Chopper plan to kill the old man after the wedding, and collect the Howard fortune.
Remade as UP IN DAISY'S PENTHOUSE (1953), with Shemp playing both Popsie and himself.
Costar Lucille Lund (Daisy) was a guest of the 1993 Three Stooges Convention in Philadelphia. See The Three Stooges Journal # 67 Fall 1993 for details.
