Released July 07, 1951
Featuring Moe, Larry and Shemp
Columbia
15.75 min. (Short Subject)

Shemp has been a very sick man, suffering from hallucinations, and has been in a sanitarium, but it gets too expensive for Moe and Larry to keep him there, so they bring him home. When they go to bring Shemp home, they learn that he's marrying his "beautiful" nurse, Nora (who is downright homely!) At Nora's apartment building, they have a run in with a stranger who is carrying groceries. They get the better of him, and he vows to get revenge if he ever sees them again. The day of the wedding, they discover that the stranger is Nora's father!

The Stooges' serenade tune "Nora" was written by... Moe, Larry & Shemp. They introduced the song in THREE HAMS ON RYE (1950) as "Jane," as well as the feature GOLD RAIDERS (1951); see The Three Stooges Journal # 96 (Winter 2000).
