The Killer Dillons plan to rob the Red Dog Saloon, so the U.S. Cavalry needs three men to foil their plans. Who else are sent but the Stooges, who are horse groomers. They disguise as desperadoes and run into the Dillons. The boys' cover is blown and the chase begins.

 

Unscripted ad lib alert... Listen carefully as the scene with "bartender" Shemp mixing a drink for Blackie Whiteford opens. Shemp is telling him the story of Goldilocks & the Three Bears.
