The Stooges are "used chariot" salesmen in ancient Egypt, and try to gyp a customer who turns out to be the captain of the Pharaoh's guard. He drags them to the palace to demand their execution, but the boys become royal chamberlains instead, when Shemp cures the Pharaoh's toothache. Enjoying their new duties, the Stooges overhear a conversation between the Captain and a corrupt tax collector, and discover a plot to steal the Pharaoh's gold!

- Rubber Chariot Wheels
In the opening scenes where Moe, Larry and Shemp are preparing a chariot for sale, an unsuspecting customer arrives. They spend awhile trying to sell him the used chariot. In all these scenes, the chariot has vulcanized rubber-and-inner-tube tires!(Maybe NOT a goof, but definitely a direct SPOOF of Egyptian technology ... there is even a reference to so-called modern technology when Shemp says, "Hey Moe, I think this tire needs a recap". To which Moe replies, "So does your head! [bonk!]".)
- Where Did the Sword Come From?
When the two guards are shoving their swords into the basket that Moe and Larry are hiding in, in one shot inside the basket we see a sword comes through on Moe's left side, but Moe's left side of the basket was up against the wall.

Diesel- you're the man! I almost forgot about those lines. This is an EXCELENT short! This is perhaps the short that I wish AMC would show out of all the "Missing 60". They did show it once earlier this year, but other intelligent posters said that it was a SLIPP-up. It was hilarious to me when the guard looks at the Shemp mummy and says that the king that Shemp is impersonating was "an ugly-lookin' cuss". Then Shemp makes that quickie angry face when the guard looks away!ISLIPP, therefore I am. ®2001

Moe, Larry, and Shemp are chariot dealers in ancient Egypt that arrested for selling a "lemon" and they are sent to King Rootentooten, and eventually become royal chamberlains. It's a hilarious short, definetly one of my favorites. It is availible on the video "I'm A Monkey's Uncle." B. Bopper - President of The Amalgamed Association of Morons, local 6 & 7/8
