Fine Art of Boxing, The (No Stooge in the Ring)
Shemp filmed a scene with Eugene Pallette (George Hastings, Cassil's publicist) in the final third of the movie. Unfortunately it was cut in the final release, and all that remains of Shemp is a background cameo during a scene between Pallette and Boyer.
On the premiere night of his latest Broadway hit, playwright Andre Cassil (Charles Boyer) is shocked to find Dr. Jane Alexander (Margaret Sullavan) asleep in the front row, and he is immediately smitten. Determined to win her heart, he goes to great lengths to be with her, including feigning a heart condition at her medical office. Eventually he wears through her professional shield and she agrees to marry him. But ever the professional, Jane decides that they must keep separate apartments so romance can never interfere with their careers. Cassil finds that to be with his new wife, it requires... an appointment for love.
