Fine Art of Boxing, The (No Stooge in the Ring)
Buck Kennedy is a stunt double for the egotistical star of low-budget westerns, Grant Drexel. Carol Stevens, a star whose last four films lost money, has been loaned out by her studio to one of Drexel's westerns. Buck and Carol are attracted to each other, and when Drexel decides to move in on her, he has Buck fired while the film company is on location in a small town. Bank robbers, posing as another film company in the same town, trick Buck into helping them rob the bank by hiring him as an extra. He breaks out of jail to find the real crooks, and Drexel follows him to take credit for the capture.
Shemp's first film for Columbia features him as an Assistant Director, who strikes up a friendship with Buck.
