Footnotes:
In spite of the numbering, St. John published only 6 issues of Laurel and Hardy. Issues 1 - 3 were published 1949. St. John relaunched Laurel and Hardy in 1955, continuing the issue #s of a cancelled westerns title... a common practice at the time, done to avoid the cost of registering new 3rd class mailing permits for subscriptions. There were 3 issues published 1955 - 1956, #s 26 thru 28, and they reprinted the contents of the 1949 issues. The exception was a new, original cover for # 26.
