SS-3 "Gruff" Shemp Publicity Shot
- Shemp met and married (1925) Gertrude a couple years before A NIGHT IN SPAIN.
- Shemp was one of Ted Healy's stooges in A NIGHT IN SPAIN, which ran with previews, a Broadway run, and a national tour from early 1927 to early December 1928.
- Shemp, Moe and Larry split from Ted late August 1930 to the end of July 1932. They rejoined Healy in August 1932, but Shemp left again after only a couple weeks, on August 19.
- Ted's last name is correctly spelled Healy.
