Hal Played Stooge to The Three Stooges, 1 pg., in the Indianapolis newspaper's Sunday TV listing magazine, honors local television host Hal Fryar on his costarring role in the Stooges' THE OUTLAWS IS COMING (1965).
Although OUTLAWS opened in January 1965, the city of Indianapolis held a gala premiere in June. The reason(s) for this are unknown, but it's guessed that this was done to accommodate the summer vacations of Hal's and the Stooges' fans.
