Self-published overview of the solo [Columbia] film careers of Shemp Howard, Joe Besser and Joe DeRita, plus Curly Howard's sole, solo MGM short. Some incorrect historical information. Backstory events are presented with imaginative over-dramatizations of conversations between Moe, Shemp, Larry, Harry Cohn, Jules White, etc. Spelling, typo and grammatical errors abound; e.g., Ted Healy is referenced frequently and his last name is misspelled continuously.
The author's enthusiasm and good intentions for the subject matter is apparent, but the presentation is lacking and the book is not recommended.
