As cable channels proliferated, "TV Guide" for a time distributed an alternate edition of its weekly guide that focused on that technology. Feature articles remained the same as its regular newsstand edition.
A non-Stooges cover, this issue had the same Three Stooges articles as the regular edition, promoting the April 24 TV movie.
