I think Moe looks great--in a comedic sense--dressed up in that apron at the start. Shemp as always has good one-liners & little asides. His parenting technique leaves a lot to be desired--sleeping in the baby's crib & putting him between the spring & mattress (or so he thought). The "coughing up bubbles" scene was very funny--even better than the old "coughing up feathers" bit seen in previous shorts.

Has its moments, but overall very weak. Sappy, badly filmed, and rushed at the end. Clear evidence that the decline in Stooge shorts quality started well before the Besser era.

Lynn Davis is (was) one hot babe. Always wondered why Christine McIntyre never got this role. Not a bad short, had its funny stuff.....like when Moe and Larry are sitting on the table and Moe says "Nuts?" Larry says---Hey....as referencing somethin dirty.....a subtle but funny crack there.......3 pokes

Just so-so. Had its moments, but overall one of their weaker efforts with Shemp. Funniest part was when the baby threw the baby bottle (actually looked more like a Coke bottle) at Larry. It's always hilarious when something doesn't look natural, and this definitely was one of those moments!

The usual weak baby short with only a few highlights, and the ending with mother and father instantly making up was too sappy. The main highlight is the scene where Shemp adds all those ingredients to the soup, and the Stooges eat the soup afterwards and cough up bubbles.

Somewhat hit-or-miss effort. When it's good it's very good but when it tries to sneak in some plot it really falters. Highlights: the inedible soup leading to burping up bubbles (an old routine but pulled off very well), Larry baby-talking the kid and having his finger bitten; Moe slamming Shemp over the head with a doll; the landlady barking (literally) at the Stooges. Detriments: the entire plot about the estranged parents is pretty contrived, and epending on your fondness for cutesy kids you might want to FF a few scenes. "Saggy", "powdered bacon", and "little gloves" all around.

After watching this again, its a classic. The only negative thing about this short was the slightly rushed ending. But the rest was classic stuff and Shemp is a practicing kleptomaniac! 4 pokes

A rather heart warming Three Stooges film. Especially the delightful ending where the baby stands on his head to make his mother stop crying like Shemp had been doing for him. Another look at a softer side of the Three Stooges. Not to mention some great comedy as well. I think there was one scene I didn't care for, but the rest was excellent.
