Featuring Moe, Larry and Shemp
Columbia
17.4 min. (Short Subject)

Moe, Larry, and Shemp are the fight trainers for Chopper Kane who has a boxing match vs. Gorilla Watson. Gangster Big Mike tells the boys to have Chopper throw the fight, or else. The Stooges soften up their fighter by feeding him rich desserts & not having him train, but that plan fails when Watson steals Kane's girlfriend Kitty. The boys accidentally cause Gorilla Watson to break his hand on the night of the fight, and losing out on his bets, Big Mike & his boys try to rub out the Stooges.

Remade as FLING IN THE RING (1955), with stock footage.

Costar Harold "Bill" Brauer ('Big Mike') was a guest of the 1989 Three Stooges Convention in Philadelphia. See The Three Stooges Journal # 51 Fall 1989 for the story.
