Featuring Moe, Larry and Curly
Columbia
10 min. (1-Reel Sho)

Celebrities attend the Annual Examiner Benefit at the Shrine Auditorium.

The Stooges appear in a bit titled "What to Do With Your Old Phone Books." Moe declares that he has joined a Strongman's Union, and only members can tear telephone books in half. An argument and free-for-all with Larry and Curly ensues, as each tears up a telephone book to Moe's objections.

Articles in The Three Stooges Journal #s 46 (Summer 1988) and 111 (Fall 2004) report the film's details.

Larry and Moe reworked this appearance 30 years later with Joe DeRita and Emil Sitka in THE NEW 3 STOOGES (1965) live-action wraparound "Barbers."
